A small study explored adding separate sildenafil to low-dose tadalafil and found improvements in some erectile-function measures, especially in men with severe symptoms. Avoid accidentally adding more PDE5 medicine
This troche already contains both drugs. Do not add tadalafil, sildenafil or another erection product without explicit prescriber instructions. Nitrates, poppers and riociguat must not be used with either ingredient. Review alpha blockers, blood-pressure treatment and medicines that affect drug clearance too.
Know when to seek care
Fainting, severe dizziness or chest pain needs urgent assessment. An erection lasting more than four hours is an emergency. Stop treatment and seek prompt care for sudden vision or hearing changes, and tell emergency clinicians that the prescription contains both tadalafil and sildenafil.
