Dotti also has labeled uses for menopausal vulvar and vaginal atrophy and certain low-estrogen conditions. Tell your provider about dryness or discomfort as well as hot flashes so the treatment route can match the problem being addressed.
Keep uterine protection and risk history in the plan
Share any unexplained bleeding, prior blood clot or stroke, breast-cancer history or liver disease. If you have a uterus, discuss the role of a progestogen. New bleeding or concerning symptoms should be reviewed rather than assumed to be part of menopause.
